Vintage Idar Oberstein Carnelian Agate Faceted Bi-cone Beads IOB_001G

This Vintage African Trade Idar Oberstein Agate Strand was traded in Nigeria. The beads were cut in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. The date back to mid to the end of the 19th  century.

The beads are generally in good condition, although they show age-appropriate nicks and chips at the edges.  Most beads are faceted bicones, and the central bead is a disc bead. One bead appears to be glass.  Please see the photos for details.

The strand is 26" long, including raffia (about 20" long just beads). Bicone faceted beads
