A Necklace of Short Strand of 20 Antique Venetian African Trade Fancy Red Feather Beads M00063M

A Short Strand of 20 Antique Venetian African Trade Fancy Red Feather beads dating to the late 1800 - early 1900s. These beads have a semi-translucent red matrix with white and blue feather decorations.

There are several strands available, all nearly identical.  A representative strand is shown in the photos.  You will get one very similar.

The beads are about 12-16mm long and 8-9 mm wide.

The beads are in good condition.  They appear to have truncated ends which probably is due to repairs of traditionally easy-to-break ends of these fragile beads. they have traveled far and wide, and some wear such as nicks, scratches, and chips is expected.
