Genuine Mediterranean Precious Coral Beads, 10g or 5g lots
We offer loose genuine antique Mediterranean precious red coral beads sourced in Morocco. The coral is red-orange, the typical color of the old Mediterranean coral, with some black inclusions. The listing is for 10g of beads.
The beads are in good antique condition, but as is appropriate for the age, may have some nicks and scratches on them. The black inclusions are usually in small depressions on the surface of the beads. Please see the photos for detail.
The beads are available in different sizes ranging from 5 to 12 mm in diameter, with approximately 0.8-1mm holes. The beads are rondel or cylindrical. The listings are for 10g or 5g lots, see options at checkout.
The approximate number of beads per a 10g lot is below:
3-6 mm beads approximately 50 beads for 10g;
5-8 mm beads approximately 22 beads for 10g:
8-10mm beads approximately 8 beads for 10g
10-13mm beads approximately 4 beads for 10g
Mixed l0g lot (a mix of about 15 beads of different sizes, 10g)
For 5g lots, the number of beads is about half of that for 10 g lots.
The number of beads is approximate and may vary slightly as every bead is unique. The lots are priced by weight rather than by bead size.
The photo shows a mixed lot. The smallest bead in the lot is about 3-5mm, the largest about 12mm
Weights and sizes are approximate.

COLORS: Our photos are taken in different lighting in an attempt to show how beads look in different lighting conditions. We make every effort to show colors as accurately as possible. The white background photos are taken in daylight conditions. The black background photos are taken in the strong lab light, and would be representative of what they would look like in the evening electric light. Some of the photos are backlit to emphasize their translucency. Note that monitor settings strongly affect the way the colors look. What you see on your monitor may differ from what you see with a naked eye depending on your monitor settings.
