Tis listing is for rare large teal-green Ancient Islamic period glass beads. They are dated to Islamic Period, between the 8th and 12th century AD. Sometimes colloquially referred to as "large green Nila beads", there are hard to find. Most of the beads are teal-green, a few on each strand are teal-blue, with occasional yellow, brown or gray. There are several strands available; the photos show some representative strands, You will get a random strand. If you wish to see a specific strand you will get before shipping, please contact us, but the strands are really very similar.
The beads are ancient and somewhat irregular in shape. Every bead is unique.
Each strand is about 20" of beads (not including stringing)
The beads graduate from about 5mm to about 12-14mm, with most beads about 8-10mm.
