Antique European Dutch Dogon and Venetian Cornaline D'Aleppo Glass Beads Y24_0026_A
A 16-bead strand of mostly cobalt blue “Dutch Dogon” beads and Cornaline D’Aleppo beads, with a few others in the mix.
Size: 8x13mm-20x23mm, hole 4mm.
The “Dutch Dogon” beads are believed to be of Bohemian manufacture, traded to Africa by Dutch traders. Cornaline D’Aleppo beads are Venetian. The nature of the white coloration on one of the blue beads is unclear. It may be a later addition. Some discoloration on a couple of beads (see photos).
