This listing is for one antique pressed natural amber bead from West Africa. Baltic Amber was traded to Africa along the ancient Amber Route since antiquity. Pressed amber is natural, genuine amber that has been heated and pressed into a more regular shape than untreated amber. The beads in this listing are more regular in shape than untreated amber. The beads are massive and carry with them a sense of history and ethnic beauty.
